Telegraph Hill is one of the more distinctive climbs in the Mariposa area because it combines a sustained foothill ascent with broad views across Mariposa County. I’ve ridden this road repeatedly on e-bikes, and the electric assist makes the climbing manageable while still leaving plenty of actual riding. On clear days, parts of Yosemite’s granite skyline can appear in the distance. It is a local road ride outside Yosemite National Park, and conditions can change, so I treat it as a route option rather than a guaranteed tour itinerary.
