Día de los Muertos E-Bike Tour Near Yosemite: Ride With Us November 2

Fall is already one of my favorite times to ride in the Sierra Foothills. The temperatures cool down, the summer crowds start to thin out, and the landscape around Mariposa begins to change.
On Monday, November 2, we're adding something different.
Yosemite E-Biking is hosting a Día de los Muertos E-Bike Tour Special, a four-hour ride through the Sierra Foothills outside Yosemite National Park. Costumes are encouraged, face-paint kits will be available, and we'll spend the morning riding some of the quiet backroads around Mariposa.
The ride runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $199 per person.
A Día de los Muertos Ride in the Sierra Foothills
Día de los Muertos is a time to remember and celebrate the people who came before us. For this ride, we're bringing some of that color and spirit outside for a morning on e-bikes.
Dress up in your favorite costume, add some face paint if you'd like, and come ready to ride.
We'll provide the e-bikes, helmets and safety gear, along with the support that comes with our guided rides. Before leaving, we'll go over the bikes and controls so everyone has time to get comfortable.
You don't need previous e-bike experience. The pedal-assist bikes take much of the work out of the Sierra Foothill climbs, which makes it easier for riders with different levels of cycling experience to stay together.
Fall E-Biking Near Yosemite
Early November can be a great time to explore Mariposa County by bike. Instead of spending the morning in traffic or trying to squeeze another stop into Yosemite Valley, we'll be riding through the foothills and California Gold Country outside the national park.
The exact route will depend on conditions, but expect a mix of quiet roads, fall scenery, local history, and plenty of photo stops.
This isn't a race, and we're not trying to cover as many miles as possible. The idea is to get outside, have some fun, and enjoy a fall morning in the foothills.

Make It Part of a Fall Trip to Yosemite
If you're visiting Yosemite in late October or early November, this is an easy way to add something different to the trip.
Mariposa sits along Highway 140, one of the main gateways to Yosemite National Park. Our rides take place outside the park in the surrounding Sierra Foothills, so you get to see a side of Mariposa County that's easy to miss when you're driving straight to Yosemite Valley.
It's also a good fit for an arrival day, departure day, or a day when you've had enough of sitting in the car.
The Día de los Muertos ride is part of our seasonal e-bike tours near Yosemite, which change throughout the year as the weather and foothills change.
